ROVA Social Poster - Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

ROVA Social Poster ("the App") is a first-party tool used by its owner to publish the owner's own original content to social media accounts that the owner controls and has authorized. This policy explains what the App does with data.

Who this applies to

The App is operated by its owner for the owner's own accounts. It is not offered to the general public and does not onboard third-party end users.

What we access

When an account owner authorizes the App via TikTok's OAuth, the App receives an access token scoped to video.upload (and basic profile info via user.info.basic). The App uses this solely to upload the owner's own videos to the owner's own TikTok account (as drafts, and, where approved, as direct posts).

What we store

The App stores the OAuth access/refresh tokens locally on the owner's own machine in order to publish on a schedule. Tokens are not shared with any third party. The App does not collect, sell, or share personal data of any other person.

What we do not do

We do not read or collect other users' personal information, do not build advertising profiles, and do not transfer data to third parties beyond the platform APIs strictly required to publish the owner's own content (e.g., TikTok, Meta).

Data retention and deletion

Tokens are retained only while the account is actively used by the App and can be revoked at any time from the account's TikTok settings, which immediately ends the App's access. Locally stored tokens can be deleted by the owner at will.
